Loopy Loyalty Alternative — Sharaftona Compared

Comparison

A Loopy Loyalty alternative for businesses that outgrow stamps

Loopy Loyalty is a well-established Apple and Google Wallet stamp-card tool, and it does that job well. The question worth asking is whether stamp cards are the only mechanic your business will ever need.

  • Stamps, points, cashback & tiers
  • Native Arabic (RTL)
  • 14-day trial, no card
  • From $15/month

Where Sharaftona differs

Structural differences rather than a feature race — these are the ones that change which tool fits.

1

More than one reward mechanic

Loopy Loyalty's published plans describe stamp cards. Sharaftona runs stamps, points, cashback and gift rewards, with customer tiers on top of any of them — so a café can stamp coffees while a salon runs prepaid packages and a retailer runs points, without changing platform.

2

Arabic as a first-class language

If your customers read Arabic, the card, the registration page, the push notification and your staff's scanner all need to work right-to-left. Sharaftona is built bilingual rather than translated. Loopy Loyalty's site does not state Arabic support.

3

Campaigns written for you

Sharaftona segments your customers daily — VIP, at-risk, new, dormant — and drafts campaign copy in Arabic and English. That is the part most small businesses never get around to doing manually.

4

A lower entry point

As of August 2026, Loopy Loyalty's own pricing page starts at $25/month and Sharaftona starts at $15/month. Compare the tier you would actually use rather than the headline, because the limits differ (see the table).

Which one should you actually choose?

An honest read, including the cases where Loopy Loyalty is the better answer.

Both products put a loyalty card into Apple Wallet and Google Wallet with no app for your customers to download, and both let staff scan at the counter. If that is the whole of your requirement, this is a close call and you should trial both.

The decision usually comes down to two questions: how many customers you expect in year one, and whether stamps alone will still fit your business in a year.

When Loopy Loyalty is the better fit

If you expect to pass a few thousand customers quickly and stamps are genuinely all you need, Loopy Loyalty's unlimited-customers-on-every-plan model is simpler and may work out cheaper than moving up tiers elsewhere. Its entry plan also includes up to three stamper logins, where Sharaftona's Start plan includes one.

It is also the longer-established product in this specific niche, with a large base of stamp-card merchants. If you want the narrowest possible tool for exactly one job, that focus is a feature rather than a limitation.

When Sharaftona is the better fit

If your average transaction varies a lot, stamps quietly punish your best customers, because a stamp treats a 15 and a 150 purchase identically. Points fix that, and Loopy Loyalty's published plans do not offer them.

The same applies to tiers and cashback. A salon selling prepaid packages, a gym selling memberships, or a retailer wanting spend-based tiers needs a mechanic beyond stamps, and switching platform later means re-enrolling every customer — wallet passes issued under one provider's certificates stop updating when you leave.

And if you operate in the Gulf, Arabic is not a nice-to-have. A card your customer cannot read comfortably is a card they delete, and a scanner your staff cannot read causes mistakes at the till.

How to decide in an afternoon

Both offer a free trial, so test rather than read. Enrol yourself as a customer from a second phone and time it. Have your least technical staff member run ten transactions after a single demonstration. Send yourself one push notification and read it on a lock screen, in every language your customers use. Then try to reverse a mistake.

Whichever survives that is the right answer for your counter, regardless of which comparison table you read.

Questions

  • At the entry tier, yes — as of August 2026 Sharaftona's published pricing starts at $15/month against $25/month on loopyloyalty.com/pricing. But the plans include different limits: Loopy Loyalty allows unlimited customers on every plan while Sharaftona's Start plan covers up to 1,000, so compare the tier that matches your actual customer count rather than the headline price.
