Comparison
A Loystar alternative built for the Gulf, not West Africa
Loystar is a Nigerian point-of-sale and inventory product with loyalty attached, priced in naira. Sharaftona is a wallet-first loyalty platform priced in dollars and built in Arabic. The overlap is smaller than the category suggests.
- From $15/month
- Native Arabic (RTL)
- Cashback & gift rewards
- 14-day trial, no card
Where Sharaftona differs
Loystar sells inventory, invoicing and reporting with loyalty as one module. Sharaftona does one thing: bring customers back.
Loyalty is the product, not a module
Loystar's plans are measured in inventory items — 10, 100, 350, 10,000 — with one loyalty programme on most tiers. Sharaftona has no inventory system and does not want one. Every plan is measured in customers and reward mechanics.
The card lives in Apple and Google Wallet
Sharaftona issues a real wallet pass that updates in your customer's phone the moment they earn or redeem, with no app to download. If a wallet pass is what you came for, confirm exactly how any alternative delivers it before you commit.
Arabic and dollars, not English and naira
Loystar publishes in naira with Nigerian payment methods including bank transfer fees. Sharaftona publishes in dollars and runs natively in Arabic with right-to-left layout across the dashboard, scanner, sign-up page and card.
Five reward mechanics on the entry plan
Loystar includes one loyalty reward programme on its lower tiers and unlimited programmes on Pro. Sharaftona gives you stamps, points, cashback, gifts and tiers from the start, with eight industry playbooks behind them.

Which one should you actually choose?
If you are reading this in the Gulf, the answer is probably straightforward.
Loystar is an established product with real customers, and for a Nigerian retailer that needs inventory, invoicing and loyalty in one subscription it is a sensible package.
But it is solving a different problem in a different market, and it is worth being clear about that rather than manufacturing a close contest.
If you need inventory and invoicing, we are not it
Sharaftona has no stock control, no invoices and no receipts. If your shortlist exists because you want one system for tills, stock and loyalty, Loystar covers ground we deliberately do not.
Adding a point-of-sale is not on our roadmap. We integrate with the till you already have rather than replacing it.
If you want customers to come back, the tools are different
Loystar counts inventory items and SMS units. Sharaftona counts customers and what brings them back — stamps, points, cashback, gifts and tiers, with automated segmentation and push notifications that cost nothing per send.
Those are different instruments for different jobs, and paying for one while needing the other is the most common mistake in this category.
Market and language
Loystar prices in naira with Nigerian payment rails. Sharaftona prices in dollars, operates across the Gulf, and runs in Arabic end to end.
For a business in Riyadh, Dubai or Muscat, that is not a preference — it is whether your staff and customers can use the thing at all.
