A Passtastic alternative priced for the Gulf
Passtastic is a mature European product with unlimited customers and hands-on setup. Sharaftona costs less than half at entry and is built around Arabic. The right answer depends on where your customers are.
- From $15/month
- Native Arabic (RTL)
- Cashback & gift rewards
- 14-day trial, no card
Where Sharaftona differs
Both put a pass in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet with unlimited push. The differences are currency, language and which reward mechanics you get.
Priced for this region, in dollars
As of August 2026 Passtastic's entry plan is €29/month, billed €348 annually, with prices published in euros. Sharaftona starts at $15/month. For a single-location business in the Gulf, paying in euros at a European price point is a real friction.
Arabic that is actually in the product
Passtastic's site and pricing are published in English and euros, with no Arabic interface listed. Sharaftona's dashboard, staff scanner, sign-up page and wallet card all run in native Arabic with right-to-left layout. Confirm this with any vendor rather than trusting a comparison page — including this one.
Cashback and gifts, not just stamps and coupons
Passtastic covers six programme types including memberships and coupon-to-loyalty. Sharaftona covers stamps, points, tiers, plus cashback as spendable balance and a gift catalogue unlocked with points. The lists overlap without matching — check which mechanic you actually need.
AI that drafts the campaign
Sharaftona segments your base daily into VIP, at-risk, new and dormant, and drafts the campaign copy in Arabic and English. Passtastic offers automated campaigns on its mid tier; the drafting is where Sharaftona goes further.

Which one should you actually choose?
This one splits cleanly by geography.
Passtastic is the more established product. It states 3,000+ businesses, offers a one-to-one setup call on annual plans, and covers six programme types. None of that is in dispute.
But almost all of it is built for a European customer, and two things follow from that.
If you are in Europe, Passtastic is probably the better fit
Euro pricing, a European support footprint, unlimited customers on every plan and a human who builds your programme with you on a call. For a café in Lisbon or Berlin that is a strong package, and we are not going to argue otherwise.
The white-glove setup in particular is something Sharaftona does not offer. We replace it with an AI card designer that gets you to a live card in about twenty minutes, which is a different trade, not a strictly better one.
If you are in the Gulf, the language decides it
Sharaftona renders in Arabic end to end — the dashboard your manager uses, the scanner your staff hold, the page your customer signs up on, and the card in their wallet. Passtastic does not list an Arabic interface.
For a business in Riyadh, Jeddah or Muscat, an English-only sign-up page is the single largest source of drop-off at the exact moment you are trying to enrol someone.
Count your customers before you compare prices
Passtastic puts unlimited customers on every plan. Sharaftona caps the entry plan at 1,000 and moves you up from there. If you already have several thousand active customers, that difference matters more than the headline price.
If you are starting out, $15 against €29 for the same core capability is the number that counts.
Questions
- At entry level, yes — $15/month against €29/month as published in August 2026. We do not quote an exchange rate because it moves; compare the two figures in your own currency on the day.
